Founded in 2001, Guangzhou Heda Shelves Co., Ltd. is an industry-leading Chinese heavy-duty storage racking manufacturer and global exporter, delivering engineered warehouse solutions across 120+ nations.
From decoiling certified Baosteel/Shougang hot-rolled strip steel, continuous cold-roll forming, automated CNC punch stamping, robotic beam-connector welding, to multi-stage chemical pretreatment, all workflows are enclosed in our Guangzhou factory.
We hold independent European CE certification (No. 2435-CPR-8605159), ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management certification (No. 18624Q00169R0M), and international RoHS compliance, satisfying tier-one engineering and insurance audits worldwide.
Our 300+ strong engineering team translates client architectural drawings, clear stack heights, slab load capacities, and forklift specs into full 2D layouts, 3D visual models, and deflection calculations before single dollar commitments.
Specialized intermodal bundle engineering maximizes 20GP/40HQ container volumetric pack rates above 92%, utilizing steel dunnage, protective foam film, and color-coded labels to slash landing freight costs per pallet location.
Analysis of supply chain shifts, total cost of ownership (TCO) prioritization, modular CAPEX flexibility, and ESG mandates redefining industrial storage procurement through 2030.
Global logistics executives are abandoning rigid, single-purpose storage. Supply chain volatility demands that initial selective racking can morph into double-deep, drive-in, or multi-tier pick towers via standardized slotting profiles.
Specifying universal column perforation profiles (50mm / 75mm teardrop and diamond punching) allows companies to adjust beam clearance levels on-the-fly as pallet heights and packaging volume fluctuate seasonally.
Procurement directors are shifting evaluations away from initial FOB purchase price to "Landed Cost Per Stored Pallet Position (LCP)". This model weighs cubic footprint efficiency, freight packing density, structural life cycle, and maintenance overhead.
China factory direct supply models offer steep TCO benefits by eliminating regional agent markups while optimizing container nesting so up to 1,200 pallet positions can travel within a standard 40HQ container.
With multinational enterprises enforcing ESG disclosures, racking sourcing requires strict supply chain material certification. Green steel melted with Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) and solvent-free thermosetting powder coats are moving from optional to mandatory.
Guangzhou HEDA utilizes eco-friendly lead-free powder coatings that release zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and conform strictly with EU RoHS directives, preventing workplace contamination.
How advanced metallurgical forming, automated robotic warehousing (AS/RS), seismic finite element simulations, and digital twin monitoring are reshaping high-bay industrial storage.
High-speed material handling requires racking designed to accommodate automated radio shuttles and 4-way automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS). The racking is no longer static ironwork; it serves as a dynamic machine track.
Manufacturing tolerances are held under ±0.5mm across run lengths to ensure shuttle guide tracks prevent jamming, wheel slippage, or sensor disruption under 1.5m/s pallet travel acceleration.
High-bay storage up to 24 meters must withstand lateral kinetic forces during earthquakes and wind shear for rack-clad warehouse buildings. Traditional linear elastic design has been replaced by non-linear Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Our engineers run complex ANSYS and SAP2000 simulations against regional seismic spectra (UBC Zone 4, IS 1893, Eurocode 8) to optimize column footplate anchoring, frame bracing, and semi-rigid beam-column rotational spring constants.
The next frontier of smart warehousing is telemetry-equipped racking. Embedded strain gauges, tri-axial tilt sensors, and LiDAR impact beacons detect forklift collisions, beam overload sag, and post-seismic joint misalignment.
Data streams to facility managers in real-time, alerting safety inspectors before structural buckling can trigger catastrophic rack collapse, significantly reducing enterprise liability.

Clear, technical guidance addressing safety factors, steel grades, custom certifications, shipping protection, and installation support for international engineering buyers.
We primarily manufacture using prime certified Q235B (yield strength ≥ 235 MPa) and high-strength Q355B (yield strength ≥ 355 MPa, equivalent to European S355JR / ASTM A572 Grade 50) cold-rolled steel. Every raw coil undergoes optical spectrometer alloy analysis and tensile bend testing, with full Mill Test Certificates (MTC) supplied with project documentation.
Our surface finishing features an automated 10-stage chemical immersion protocol: pre-degreasing, deep alkaline wash, water rinse, acid pickling to eliminate scale, phosphating to form a micro-crystalline zinc-phosphate conversion layer, and dual passivation. Components are then powder-coated with 60–90µm thermosetting epoxy-polyester and cured at 180°C–200°C. For sub-zero freezers (-30°C) or open berths, hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) per ISO 1461 is available.
To deliver an accurate CAD design and load matrix within 24 hours, our structural team requires: (1) Warehouse building DWG/PDF including column grid and clear roof height; (2) Pallet dimensions (Length x Width x Height including cargo overhang); (3) Gross pallet weight (dead load + live load); (4) Material handling equipment (forklift turning radius, mast lift height, outrigger specs); and (5) Ambient temperature & regional seismic zone data.
Our engineering designs comply strictly with European FEM 10.2.02 (Design of Static Steel Pallet Racking) and EN 15512 / EN 15620, the American RMI (Rack Manufacturers Institute) MH16.1 standard, the Australian Standard AS 4084-2023, and Chinese National Standard GB/T 27924-2011. Deflection tolerances under full working load are limited to L/200 (or L/300 for sensitive automated systems) with standard safety factor multipliers of 1.4 to 1.65.
Uprights and frame components are packed in rigid steel strap bundles with high-density corrugated cushions and vapor-corrosion-inhibiting (VCI) shrink wrap. Beams are stacked in custom wooden crates or banded onto steel cradles with locking corner protectors. Small hardware (base plates, M12/M16 high-tensile bolts, beam safety pins, anchor bolts) is sealed in reinforced double-layer wooden cases to ensure 100% arrival integrity.
Every export project includes comprehensive 3D component explosion assembly drawings, step-by-step video manuals, piece mark schedules, and torque rating specifications for local installation contractors. For large distribution centers or mezzanine builds, Guangzhou HEDA dispatches senior structural supervisors to lead assembly, laser level alignment, torque auditing, and final handover testing.
